The Manufacturing Site in Rødkærsbro (63 employees) specializes in producing advanced tunnel ovens, many of which are standard but also highly customized to meet customers’ specific needs.

These ovens are complex systems incorporating many features, including gas and electric heating, metal detectors, cooling conveyors, and other specialized components. Many control points and integrations make each oven project challenging.

The position

We are seeking an Automation Engineer for a role that involves a blend of support, testing, and programming tasks for advanced baking tunnel oven machinery. This position offers a variety of responsibilities with a hands-on approach, as you will transition between programming and hands-on support. The programs you will work with are often standard, requiring adjustments and troubleshooting rather than complex development from scratch, but for each project, you must create software for a fully functional control system that the installation department can install and commission with minimal support from your side.

We are also working towards having more standardized software that is quicker and easier to scale.

You will be responsible for finalizing, testing, and validating electrical control panels made by an external supplier and tailored to the specific oven configuration. This includes programming and wiring the panels to prepare them for final customer dispatch. Your role may also involve updating panels with new components, testing these components within the programming environment, and simulating faults through test jumpers to ensure robust system performance.

You will be part of our team in Rødkærsbro.

You will refer to the Department Head of Engineering, based in Skovlunde.
